Reviews From My Happily Married Couples

Stephanie and Fred had a Unity Sand Ceremony with their kids but the table was a little too tall! - Wedding at The Foundry LIC

Here is what couples have to say about my service:

She took the time not only to get to know my husband and me but also was there for us whenever we had questions, and even coordinated our wedding to ensure it was a beautiful day for us. The ceremony was everything!
I must add that Robyn became more than the officiant, she became a family friend. We loved and enjoyed working with her … she’s indeed the best!
— Danielle + Jermaine
She cares deeply about her couples, from asking questions to get to know us and our “September Love Story,” suggesting a beautiful sand pouring ceremony with our kids, and all the laughs and a few heartfelt tears she caused our guests on our wedding day, we cannot fully express how grateful and blessed we are to have found her.

Why You Should Hire A Black Wedding Officiant

When it comes to the wedding industry, black vendors are often under-represented and underestimated. According to The Knot Real Weddings Study, 40% of U.S. couples in 2021 made a conscious effort to book wedding services with businesses owned by minorities and under-represented groups.

If you're an engaged couple looking to have a diverse wedding, you can start with the officiant.

There are a number of reasons you should choose an African-American minister for your wedding. First, she can help to create a more diverse and inclusive atmosphere at your wedding for your guests. Just by being present, your officiant will have your guests feeling represented and celebrated at your wedding.

Second, a officiant can add multicultural viewpoints to your wedding ceremony. She can help you create a ceremony that honors both your families’ heritages and traditions by including custom unity rituals.

Third, a black marriage officiant can help to create a more intimate and intentional atmosphere during your ceremony, thus making your guests feel included in the day. This can be a great way to make your wedding day even more special.

Hiring any POC vendors for your wedding can show your guests that you're committed to diversity and inclusion. This can be an important consideration if you want your wedding to send a positive message about these values.
